okk let's talk block leave.
first up i practically spent 90% of the time preparing for interviews (med and dentistry). yah, great way to spend my block leave riteeee? loads of ppl would tell me preparing for interviews is a waste of time but seriously, there's a hundred and one reason to prepare for it. you've probably been through lots of activities but u forgot abt them and so u gotta refresh and stuff. like for instance, the dentistry interviewers asked me abt this NE thing ive been to but the activity was so damn small and insignificant i couldn't remember a single thing. And, u probably like this course but u still gotta think abt why u have passion for it in the first place. so, yahh, to all my juniors, u realli gotta prepare to answer wad the interviews throw at u cos it's really a once-in-a-lifetime chance.
anyway, i think i did well for my interviews! i think. i felt great after dentistry interview. medicine interview was long and tiring. mine went on for 2+hours. HAHA jeremy tat idiot called me during my med interview and they cld hear the vibration. Anyway i realise the competition is so darn tough u are competing wif ppl lyk chanyi, jiawei blah blah my chances of getting it? slim.
i got posted to guards. yeahh. i was damn demoralised, and i found out abt it just b4 my medicine interview. i think they cld tell im quite sad or sth. Anyway, my vocation? LIGHTSTRIKE TROOPER. wow, cool rite. supposed to handle this vehicle called lightstrike, like a car, but u are exposed, and there's a gun on top. training's going to be tough,yah. heard they are going to wake u up in the middle of the night or sth, to do PT. And cos im guards, im supp to do lots of helicopter stuff. And im afraid of heights, fits me rite? aiyah, wadever, all this is going to train me up i suppose.
And yah, im quite pissed the class outing can't go through. im really really damn frkin' angry. i spent a hell lot of time finding restaurants, good food and stuff, organising the whole thing. And i was kinda looking forward to pretty much my last outing since the guys are going to hell soon. I can understand if ppl realli realli cannot make it if they've gt other plans, but if your excuses are like wad "oh, i think you informed me too late" or going out on private dates, i realli dunno if i realli want to go out wif u ppl anymore.
