WHOOHOOO back from Australia! And I have tons of things to share.

Gotta say I loved my wallaby experience la. Ive already lost count of how many times I complain about it before I flew off sia. I mean, damn, it's 3 weeks. That's like what, another SOL, and hell SOL already felt long enough without the training and stuff. I'm happy my parents, my mom esp, friends, girlfriend esp., encouraged me, pushed me on, gave me words of advice before departure. It helped la. But now tt it all ended I think I really, really enjoyed it la.

Flight day was hell demoralising. Said byebye to family, exchanged goodbye kisses, before boarding, thinking, what the heck la hell is coming. It's New Zealand airlines, and I have no idea why we don't get to take SIA. And NZ isn't even in AUstralia. I think NZ lets u watch more recent movies but the food is so crap i didn't eat half of it. Watched the Karate Kid and It's Complicated (what the hell this show is disgusting I mean come on how old is she and she's still doing tt?) and before long we arrived.

Good thing about Wallaby is the weather. There's free aircon at night. Bet the locals save a hell lot compared to us. But it can get super cold at night which is why SAF spent a hundred bucks on each of us to get us tt jacket. And in the day it doesnt feel tt hot either. I mean, I don't sweat during training. There's no liquid mud anywhere during outfield. Makes proning a more attractive option to high kneeling yeah. That's why outfield here is a hundred times better than in Singapore.

We stayed in Tiger Hill. It's basically just a hell lot of tentages with beds inside. We had to pee into a long tube and you could see a hell lot of urine patches everywhere which makes u think our soldier's aiming is really deadly. There's hot water to bathe. What we got to do is fill a pail with hot water and put it in a water bag. No privacy, cos 10 of us bathe at any one time.

Had two field camps, which were meant to test us on our proficiency. A few live firings, and finally Exercise Valient Conqueror. Makes me think the trip is kinda lame cos I think all of this can be done in Australia, except Valient Conqueror. And for the whole of VC, which lasted 3 days 2 nights, I slept in the vehicle, like a baby. Love VC la really.

And there's tons of free time in the camp which means splurging a hell lot of money on the canteen. haha. THere's fre emovie screening dere too..

Ok, getting kinda long let's just skip to the R and R part. FIrst lunch was a lunch buffet, which gave me the BEST meal I have ever had in my life. Basically it's at a casino. We think that they made the meals so cheap to attract people to come here and gamble, which in turn gives them a hell lot of profit considering how many money people lose. Sadly none of us gambled. Had steak, onion rings, salad, potato, and evne an ice cream machine which I have never used before haha. Awesome.

The motel guy was friendly. Haha, he's a great cook. THe breakfast was awesome. THe motel wasn't tt impressive la but at least there's hot water and a proper bed to sleep on. THe main highlight of the R and R was a shopping spree at Big W la. IT's a departmental store la. Bought a hell lot of chocs back.

im really glad to be back in sg, haha. it's been so damn long sia. But at the same time i really enjoyed australia. gt some chances to look at kangaroos hopping arnd too. but i saw more wild cows around tho.

Ok back to enjoy my singaporean cv life now.
