WHOO HOO IM BACK. back on the fertile soils of homeland, i feel so frking free. im realli glad it's CNY in this period, else i have to further stay for another week, so its supposedly our adjustment week. anw, i dunno if i can stand another week there my muscle aches all over and because of all the constant stand ups, sit downs, going back to push-up positions over and over again, my finger is bleeding and there seems to be some infection going on. anyhu, im glad to be back. :)
about army. realli, im not supp to tok anything i shldn't tok else it would be a criminal offence that is chargeable by law, or sth like tat. My company (ORION)is probably above average in terms of it's chiongness, not as slack as LEOPARD, not as unrealistically chiong as ninja. But because we are situated rite beside ninja, we probably gt inflenced a little. That's why i wld say it is above average in terms of its hectic-ness. :) But I felt i shld have gone into leopard since almost everyone hu gt enlisted on my day same time gt into leopard i don't see why im the odd one out. grr.
i met some great frens in section 3 platoon 1 over dere, junhong, buddy kong etc. :) my section has a nice blend of independent school and non-independent school ppl. We help each other out and seriously, in army, u realli nid ppl to help sometimes, esp when u are adjusting to an entirely different environemtn. im also glad eugene is in the room right next to me on the same level (different section, same platoon, same company)while weihan is on top of me (so different section, different platoon, same company, so at least there's some ppl i know dere.
basically everything was pretty hectic. Everyday we sleep at 1030 and wake up a 530. When we ask why in their defence they say we nid at least 7 hrs of sleep, bt even so we don't usually get tat much since we all wake up at 5 to arrange our stuff, brush our teeth, bathe (if we didn't, the prev nite) so on. nvm, heck. aft that we wld gather at 545 and start our 5BX. (5 exercises to start the day off). Then we probably go for a morning jog tat seems to me like it's a few kms long before marching off to breakfast.
Discipline is enforced in army. we march everywhere we go. Even though the canteen is just opposite our block, we have to march and take the long way. Aft breakfast, we wld probably start training (for e.g. doing physical training PT, or practise our rifle so on). We train under the sun for long hours and we have 15 minutes to eat and possibly 5 mins to bathe at nite. Quote frm a friend: Army is sick.
Obviously, if we fail to meet timings, do sth stupid, they will screw us. I always cannot understand why people 1/2 years older than us deserve to scold us becuase i feel the age difference isn't tat much. While in army, discipline is enforced, i also believe it is important that commanders/sergeants do wad they are supposed to do and at the same time, act as a friend to us. But in army, this does not happen, which is kinda sad. Anyway, my bro said if u get scolded, just take it like a man and try to change your ways. Don't think abt it, cos realli, everyone will have those days, except gurls, of course.
btw, i can't believe my marching now is so fking screwed up. im frm military band last time! i think i lost count of how many times they told me to swing my hand back 45 degrees. anyway, yeahh, 2 years is a long time for you to forget all the stuff.
Anyway when i stepped into singapore, everything feels so different, like an entirely different country. btw. the first girl u meet in sg, even if she's not tat beautiful, she will still seem like the most beautiful girl that u have ever seen in ur life. that will happen if u stare at guys for a few weeks or so. for me, 1 week and im already like tat. Why? I dunno.
Ok, time to enjoy myself. :)
