Lol MAF is overrated.
You expect to meet tons of friends. After all, you haven't met for a year or so, so surely, you want to catch up about life no? But then u realise u are stupid, cos most of them would have predicted it's going to suck anyway and do a no-show, or would be studying at home for a better future. Then u also realise ur conversations usually revolve around the same topic.
Him: "Hey, long time no see! where are you now ah?"
You: "Army lo" (Come on, which physically healthy, non-gay guy, at this time, isn't?)
And some random guy beside me would say, "No, you are at hwachong." Now that's when i roll my eyes.
Him: "Hahaha! Where?"
You: "40SAR"
Him: "That's armour right? Cool! Where ah?"
You: "CCK"
Him: "Oh, when you ORD?"
and ON and ON and ON.
And the conversation gets to what u are going to study and where, which is a little bit more exciting but still, god dammit, i've had at least 50 of such conversations in one day.
I will soon reach the point where I will ask that guy to shut the f*ck up, but on close reflection, yeah, shouldn't friends talk about this kind of stuff if they haven't seen each other for a very long time?
So that's when i reach the conclusion that MAF sucks.
Lan would have been a better idea.
