Funny, how a complete soccer nub like me is playing Championship Manager 10/11 now, and pretty much addicted to it, haha. Maybe managing a team, which grants me the almighty (sometimes wicked) ability to do things like creating my virtually invincible virtual team, winning every single league, have millions of fans liking me, or fining players for no reason.
Christopher once told me how gaming opens up your imagination, allows u to do things that u cant do in real life. I told him that was bullshit, mainly because the only game i ever played was neopets (is anyone still playing that?). That was bullshit, it didn't even teach me how to take care of a pet properly, since ur pet can never die even if it's hunger status says it's dying, and it still lks god damn happy anyway. Oh, and dota, but what, that didn't open up my imagination in any way. It only shot my Sec 3 MSG up to nearly 4 points. What's that compared to all the things gaming is doing to our young children?
Maybe im starting to understand his point after all. A bit. And what right do i have to deny him anyway, he's the one who spend hours on his PSP every single day and still did better than me in A-levels. But i suppose it depends on the type of game u play? How much time u spend on it too, to get that balance. I guess too much of a good thing can be bad for anyone.
Ws marshalling for AHM a few days ago btw. I arrived at park mall at 2am to set up everything. Anyway dere's virtually nothing to do, cos the contractors did everything for us. I did manage to visit FORT CANNING hotel which was so awesome we were trying to decide our shifts so we can take turns to rest in their toilet. anyway we gt chased out aft that. Apparently some couple's having their wedding over dere and their janitor is angry at us for using the toilet when he has already cleaned it.
Met a few friends, haha. We didn't tok much anyway, since most of them are already dying once they reached my 16km mark. Guojun and yongjie were walking. A pregnant women who walked all the way were faster than them. I have no right to say anyway since i didn't run anything but screw them for making me go home so late.
Then i went out yesterday to watch "Crazy stupid love"
